Permitting and Inspections
An applicant must submit plans to the Township to ensure that the community's zoning requirements are being met. Zoning application requirements such as the types of plans, number of sets and application fees vary depending on the type of permit for which the applicant is applying. Once the Township's review is complete, one set of plans is then turned over to the Sycamore Township Fire Department and the remaining sets are returned to the applicant for submission to the Hamilton County Building Department for structural review, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing, if required.
